Introduction to Public and Patient Involvement: Workshop for PhD Researchers

This in-person and free-of-charge workshop at Amsterdam UMC is designed for (junior) PhD candidates who are planning to incorporate Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in their research. The course will provide a comprehensive introduction to PPI and will cover topics such as key concepts, ethical considerations, and practical applications for integrating PPI in research. Limited seats are available, and priority will be given to students who demonstrate a clear need for PPI in their research. ECTS can be credited by the Graduate School upon confirmation of attendance. For more information or to register, visit the registration form. This workshop is organized by the Patient Involvement in Research Working Group at Amsterdam UMC, and facilitated by the PPI Ignite Network, a collaboration of academic institutions in Ireland that aims to advance PPI in research through training, knowledge sharing, and practical guidance.
