Open science workshop
Amsterdam Movement Sciences
MS will organise a workshop on Open science aimed at all researchers who feel they need an update on this important topic. The workshop is hosted by the specialists at the Vrije Universiteit Library: Stephanie van de Sandt, Lena Karvovskaya and Jolien Scholten, and will delve into topics such as open access publishing / sharing data / code / tools / results / open peer review etc.
Open Science is the transition to a new, more open and participatory way of conducting, publishing and evaluating scholarly research. Central to this concept is the goal of increasing cooperation and transparency in all research stages. This is achieved, among other ways, by sharing research data, publications, software, tools and results as early and open as possible.
Open science is a topic that is becoming ever more important, and if you want to take the first dive, or if you are a more experienced open science researcher, we are hoping to hear from you! Sign up, and start down the path to opening up science.
The workshop is open to both junior and more senior researchers, and we hope both experienced open science researchers as well as novices will join in to share their experiences.
