The title of this tutorial is 'Studies on reliability and measurement error of medical measurements – from design to statistics'
Reliability and measurement error are measurement properties that quantify the influence of specific sources of variation (such as raters, type of machine, or time) on the score of an individual measurement. Several designs can be chosen to assess reliability and measurement error of a measurement instrument. Each design includes one or more sources of variation. In this tutorial will explain how to design studies on reliability and measurement error in a conceptual way, and how to estimate the reliability and measurement error (agreement) parameters. This tutorial is especially intended for non-statisticians, and for statistician who need to explain this to non-statisticians.
