The Methodology webinar series start again in 2021. This February Fenneke Blom & Krishma Labib will give short presentations about the courses they did with the APH grant.
This webinar is devided in two parts. In the first part, two former Methodology grant winners will give a presentation about the courses they did as part of the grant they received from APH.
Part I:
Fenneke Blom (research associate at Amsterdam UMC): How to foster responsible research practices: Initiatives for all.
Fostering responsible research practices is a shared responsibility of all who are involved in research,individual researchers and research teams included. But how can you do that in a research climate that might be driving you towards unwanted practices, or ‘sloppy science’?
We’ll discuss some practical examples of initiatives taken by others – get inspired!
Krishma Labib (PhD candidate at Amsterdam UMC): 'Co-creation': What is it and how can it be used in research?
'Co-creation' seems to be the new hype in qualitative research, but what does it actually entailand is it even useful? In this workshop, we will explore what co-creation is and how to set up a rigorous and meaningful co-creation study, using insights gained while conducting co-creation research to design guidelines for research integrity policy.
Part II:
In this part, Fenneke and Krishma will talk about their experiences with grantwriting for the APH Methodology program.In addition, program leader Mariska Leeflang will shed her light on how and why these presenters were awarded this grant.
