Join us for the Healthy Future Seminar: Understanding Risky Health Behaviours on April 25, 2025, at the Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam from 13h-18h (including borrel).
Why do people engage in risky health behaviours? What drives these choices, and how can we better shape public health strategies? At the Healthy Future Seminar, we’ll dive deep into these questions from both individual and societal perspectives.
- Dr. Rixt van der Veen (FNWI) will explore how early life conditions and stress exposure shape vulnerability to risky health behaviours.
- Dr. Patrick Brown (FMG) will examine how institutions and policies influence everyday health decisions.
Beyond insightful talks, the event will feature:
- A poster/infographic market showcasing research from Healthy Future Seed Grant recipients.
- Interactive table discussions to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
- A networking drink to continue the conversation.
