Mark your calendars for September 12th—our next Amsterdam Prevention Network (APN) meeting is just around the corner!

We are thrilled to invite you to this dynamic and interactive session, where we will delve into Amsterdam UMC’s groundbreaking strategy document (‘strategienota’). This pivotal document will shape the future of research, health care, and education at Amsterdam UMC for years to come, and we're especially excited to announce that 'prevention' is a key theme!

The inclusion of prevention in the strategic document is a significant milestone, recognizing the crucial work we do as a Network. It signifies that our efforts in prevention are being acknowledged and integrated into the broader organization, beyond just Division 10, where many of us currently operate.

During our meeting, the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Amsterdam UMC will seek our insights on how to make this theme actionable. We'll explore what it means to prioritize prevention within an academic hospital context, spanning care, research, education, and valorization. They are looking for concrete examples and ideas, and this is our chance to share our experiences and influence this vital strategy.

Let’s come together to ensure that prevention takes its rightful place in Amsterdam UMC's strategic vision. Your participation is essential to creating a meaningful impact. We can't wait to see you there and work together to put prevention on the radar! Join us and be part of this exciting journey!
