APH researcher Karine van ‘t Land wrote a column in the ICT&Health magazine about the digital chances the corona crisis brings us.
"How much is health really worth to us"? asks APH researcher Karine van 't Land (senior researcher at Amsterdam UMC). The corona crisis has shown us a lot. We have closed schools and the hotel- and catering-industry. We all work from home. We have stopped shaking hands and now keep 1.5 meter distance. The streets are empty, the country has halted.
All of this to protect our health and the health of others. We have accepted the economic damage and reserved billions to cover this. And this is exactly right.
