Do you have ideas or experiences on how to better understand your research population and context? The APH Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is looking for your input! We want to hear more about how to encourage researchers to better understand their target population and research context.

The goal is to inspire researchers to immerse themselves in the world of their target population right from the start of their PhD journey. By gaining better insights into the context of their research, researchers can conduct more relevant and inclusive research that bridges the gap between science and practice.

We will use your ideas and suggestions to develop a protocol that will be included in the APH PhD handbook. This protocol will provide guidelines on how researchers can work more inclusively from the beginning of their projects.

We look forward to hearing your ideas! Please get in touch with Trees Juurlink (t.juurlink@amsterdamumc.nl) or Lois Witteveen (a.m.l.witteveen@amsterdamumc.nl).
