The Coronavirus outbreak has profoundly affected daily practice of Amsterdam UMC personnel. Many promising initiatives taken by our personnel will be presented during this event.
During an online event for Amsterdam UMC researchers and other relations, we want to emphasize how this COVID-19 crisis has created such a vibrant sense of urgency and togetherness among Amsterdam UMC researchers that unorthodox teams were formed that greatly accelerated COVID-19 research. This event, entitled Amsterdam UMC & COVID-19: Unorthodox Teams, Accelerating Science, will illustrate the dozens of meaningful research projects that arose in Amsterdam UMC since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using the patient journey as a central thread, many research topics and teams will be highlighted covering the epidemiology, virulence & pathogenesis, and treatment & prevention of COVID-19.
And as a participant you are invited to ask all your questions regarding COVID-19 research. We will soon send you a questionnaire to collect some of your questions in advance.
