The next session of the training ‘Writing a Data Management Plan’ for PhD students affiliated at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc is scheduled for 19 April 2022, 09-12 (English) (for medical research). Registration deadline: 10-APR-2022 (see below for more information on registration).
In this training, you will learn how to write a good Data Management Plan (DMP), in which you will cover issues such as which laws and codes of conduct your research should comply with, where you will store your data, where you will archive them for the long term and how you will make them FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Many funding agencies nowadays request a Research DMP. In addition, all researchers at VUmc/Amsterdam UMC have to write a DMP, irrespective of where they get their funding from. This training can help you set up a DMP for your own research project. Please note that some preparations are required prior to the workshop, including writing a first draft of your DMP. You will receive more information shortly after the registrations have closed. The training is worth 1 EC if you complete all compulsory components.
