Using the Same Language

The collaboration focuses on care, research, education, and improving the organization of oncological care in the region. By using the same language and information standards in patient records in all hospitals, this means that everyone uses the same terms for the same concepts, enabling research in larger patient groups. The outcomes of this research will benefit future patients.

95% Close to Home

The hospitals have the same approach and pool knowledge and expertise. The goal is that 95% of cancer treatments are provided close to home. For more specialized care, patients may need to go to one of the expert centers within the network. After treatment there, the patient returns to the regional hospital as soon as possible for further treatment, follow-up, and aftercare.
