The PhD Candidates Network of the Netherlands (PNN), in collaboration with the NFU and CNV (a trade union), is conducting a national small-scale study on the challenges PhD candidates face at university medical centers. Topics include teaching duties, social safety, contract extensions due to illness or parental leave, and more. We’re looking for PhD candidates to join either an online interview (scheduled individually in May) or a live focus group on 12 or 19 June. Your insights will help us formulate concrete recommendations for the CAO UMC 2026.
