Plenary morning session
We kicked off with an interactive opening by Frank Kupper about the growing importance of impact in research. Kupper challenges common myths about research impact and emphasizes the importance of open dialogue and questioning assumptions to truly connect with society. Subsequently, we were welcomed by the vice-director of APH, Dionne Kringos.
The key notes of the day were given by Sander Begeer and Vincent van Loenen, about co-creation in autism research. In this first keynote, a non-autistic researcher and an autistic ambassador highlighted the transformative benefits of integrating lived experiences into academic research. Our second keynote was given by Julia van Weert, who showed us that health communication can play a key role in making a real impact on society. To conclude the plenary morning session, APH’s best impact practices were presented by Bibian van der Voorn and Vincent van Vugt.

During the lunch break, a succesful stakeholder analysis workshop was led by our impact developer Diane Schöller and 76 APH researchers presented their work during poster presentations.
