Researchers from Amsterdam UMC and Amsterdam Cardiovascular Sciences report this in an exploratory first-in-human study published in the European Heart Journal, offering a potential explanation for the cardiovascular benefits of GLP-1 therapies.

Additionally, their lifestyle remained healthier, even after the intensive guidance stopped. This has been reported in a study from Amsterdam UMC with 659 participants with MS.
