The Amsterdam UMC Mentoring Program, has gotten a considerable number of applications which underscores the need for researchers to benefit from mentorship. However, due to a limited number of available mentors, the program is still seeking mentors to support their fellow researchers in their personal development. To facilitate this, the deadline for extended for mentor sign-ups has been extended until November 6th. You can register easily using the short form (please disregard any automatic replies indicating that the deadline had passed when signing up as a mentor). Unfortunately, mentee sign-ups are no longer being accepted.
Kick-off meetings
The Amsterdam UMC Mentoring Program would like to invite you to the upcoming kick-off meetings for the mentoring program. These will be held on November 13th in the Vrijzaal at AMC and on November 14th in the O2 auditorium at VUmc. The sessions will begin with an introduction to the mentoring program (from 16:00 to 17:00), featuring insights and experiences from previous participants and guidance from an experienced coach on optimizing the program. Following this, there will be an opportunity for networking and drinks from 17:00 to 18:30. These kick-off meetings are for anyone interested in the mentoring program.
