Focus of research
I am a PhD Candidate performing research in the field of Listening Effort and Stress in Cochlear Implant users. The study is part of the Intense project. Various methods, such as pupillometry, physiological measurements, and subjective questionnaires are used within the studies. Both lab- and ambulatory measurements are performend.
During my studies I obtained bachelor degrees in Psychology and Medicine at the VU Amsterdam and University of Utrecht, respectively. Both my master degrees, Health Psychology and Medicine, were obtained at the University of Utrecht.
I am affiliated with the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, section Ear & Hearing at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc.
