grant in 2021 for their research within the Social Participation & Health
program. Their research project was about the factors that relate to disclosure
of health-related problems at work among workers with a low socioeconomic
position in Amsterdam.
Within this project Bosma and Bakker used different research methods like focus group sessions with creative qualitative methods, use of an experiential expert, and thematic analysis. They found that disclosure is influenced by barriers and facilitators at three different levels: personal, work environment and the societal level. The results are visualized in this sheet (in Dutch).
