General
The European Union-funded PROPHET project has drawn up a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and Roadmap for personalised prevention based on genetics in EU countries. On October 6, a meeting will be held in Amsterdam with external stakeholders and the European partners of the PROPHET project to discuss the challenges and recommendations identified.
The Strategic Research Innovation Agenda is a background document that outlines 10 challenges, and the Roadmap is a list of action points that result from these challenges, with a timeline for (policy) initiatives. You can find the latest version of this Agenda and Roadmap HERE. The latest suggestions from a public consultation are currently being integrated into this Roadmap.
The Stakeholder Meeting is also intended to introduce external and Dutch stakeholders to the Agenda and to exchange ideas about it. Relevant stakeholders include policymakers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and patient organisations. The meeting is structured as a panel discussion on key themes from the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, followed by a discussion with the audience.
