Four AII researchers in Cancer Immunology received a KWF grant. The researchers are Hazenberg, Den Haan, Van Kooyk and Van Egmond.

  • Mette Hazenberg received 520.000 euro for her research project 'Antibodies as therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (AML)'.
  • Joke den Haan received 620.000 euro for her research project 'Development of a flexible vaccine to stimulate the immune response against melanoma' .
  • Yvette van Kooyk received 537.500 euro for her research project 'How do we change the immune system-suppressing tumor microenvironment of pancreatic cancer?'
  • Marjolein van Egmond received 549.500 euro for her research project ' How can we let our own immune system attack cancer cells?'
