General
We are particularly looking forward to the keynote lecture by Wout Adema, Director Health Care – Zorgverzekeraars Nederland. His reflections and views are sure to be inspiring for project members from all sectors! To make sure that the lecture optimally aligns with your interest, you can indicate in the registration form any questions or topics you have that you would like him to address. Also, there will be ample room for discussion.
You can find an introduction to Wout's vision on the future of healthcare here .
After the keynote, each of the work packages reports on progress, where we particularly address a highlight presentation from one of their collaborating partners. In the afternoon, project partners from the quadruple helix together with junior researchers, organize masterclasses entitled public-private in practice: how can we make a next step moving the research results into society? The afternoon will host an exciting panel discussion on the topic of housing and Alzheimer’s disease. This is a topic considered highly relevant by government, health insurers and others, but does it have any relevance for our consortium? We have asked Sven van der Lee to act as curious and inquisitive host, and look forward to the panel members (both from the consortium and outside of it) for sharing their views! Traditionally, the program ends with the traditional ABOARD-short session, after which we proceed to drinks.
