Jorge Mejias and Cyriel Pennartz (Cognitive and Systems Neuroscience Group) were awarded €450k as part of a €10M new EBRAINS-led neuroscience project aimed at developing personalized brain simulation software (“virtual brain twins”) to improve the diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia. The SILS team, led by Mejias, will be responsible of integrating data from different partners into computational brain models.
