Eric Voorn and his colleagues at the Rehabilitation Medicine department of Amsterdam UMC, together with researchers at 3 French rehabilitation centers, have been awarded a Medical Research grant of €150.000 by the French Muscular Dystrophy Association (AFM-Telethon). In their project, they will translate the B-FIT training guide, that helps healthcare professionals to prescribe personalized exercise programs for individuals with neuromuscular diseases (Amsterdam UMC Locatie AMC - B-FIT training guide), into French. After translation, a multicenter study will be conducted in the 3 participating French rehabilitation centers to evaluate the usability and effectiveness of the training guide.
