The PhD student Megan Houweling has won the presentation prize during the Netherlands Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting.
The theme congres was 'The (r)evolution of toxicological models: How to address safety in target species'. Megan presented her latest work on "Combined PD0325901 mediated MEK-inhibition and radiotherapy in Glioblastoma PDX models shows a suboptimal therapeutic versus adverse event balance". Glioblastoma is a form of brain cancer.
The prize consists of a 1,000 euro reward.
