Both Amsterdam UMC and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam stress the importance of responsible research that is based on shared values and principles of honesty and integrity. AMS underscores the importance of this, and is therefore organising a responsbile research dinner where we invite all AMS researchers, both senior and junior, to join.
On the menu will be, in addition to excellent food, various pressing research integrity topics that researchers have to deal with. The research integrity topics will be introduced during the dinner, and after each course the participants will change table to disscuss other topics with other researchers. The aim is to learn from experts and fellow researchers, and to share best practises and experiences that researchers can take with them to their own department and put into practise.
