  • Vici Grant for Joost Wiersinga: Preventing Sepsis
    Vici Grant for Joost Wiersinga: Preventing Sepsis Three researchers from Amsterdam UMC have each been awarded €1.5 million by the Dutch Research Council (NWO). This prestigious Vici grant will enable them to develop an innovative research line over the next five years and expand their research groups. Prof. Joost Wiersinga, from the Amsterdam Institute for Immunology and Infectious Diseases, received the Vici grant for his study on preventing sepsis.
