The goal of the LIFELINE project is to develop the existing Atris application, sensors with a corresponding smartphone application. This gives patients and caregivers more insight into exercise behaviour and was already used in other studies. It will be developped further into a smart, user-friendly and accessible app and will be applied in the first line for the benefit of physiotherapeutic treatment of patients with Post Intensive Care Syndrome. The project was realized under the professorship Rehabilitation in Acute Care together with the Department of Rehabilitation (Amsterdam Movement Sciences). Mel Major, currently a PhD student at REACH, will co-execute this project as a post-doc.
