Mission and vision
If there is one organisation that can draw on differences, it is Amsterdam UMC with its very diverse patient groups and 17,000 colleagues. There is no such thing as a typical Amsterdam UMC employee. Thanks for that! Those differences make the difference. They help us understand the world around us better. We are better able to offer inclusive education and conduct innovative research. We are better able to connect with our patients. And our role models? They are all different, but most of all, they are just themselves.

An organisation with a large diversity of employees who are a reflection of society. Inclusion within Amsterdam UMC is normal. We are constantly discovering new ways to make use of each other's talents and see differences as enriching. We understand the patient better and better, and the patient understands us.
