On Thursday, December 12, the yearly symposium of the AMS research programme 'Rehabilitation & Development' took place at Amsterdam UMC. Below you will find a short recap of this very successful event.

The speakers effectively explored the impact of their research, sparking engaging discussions after each presentation and during the closing panel. Ideas on "with whom" and "how" researchers can create impact ranged from using clinical data and involving stakeholders to translating research into guidelines, protocols, apps, and generating new questions through an academic workplace model.

RehabNet Amsterdam was also proudly introduced: a new initiative to connect and strengthen education, science, rehabilitation practice, industry and government.

Collaboration, we believe, is key to driving successful change!

We hope the connections and discussions inspired by the symposium will continue to thrive within RehabNet Amsterdam.
