It is now possible to apply for the ACS Out of the Box and the ACS Equipment grant 2023. The ACS Out of the Box (OOTB) Grant is for ACS project leaders who want to start a new collaboration between Amsterdam UMC locations VUmc and AMC and use this grant to strengthen grant applications in the near future. The Equipment grant can be used to get a new apparatus, or an extension of existing apparatus to improve the possibilities or measurements.

Out of the Box grant

Possible options for applications: proof of concept experiment, costs for unique (expensive) imaging or genetics studies, working visit abroad to gain expertise, or any other innovative idea which will improve your future grant application. The OOTB grant is worth €25.000 and needs to be spent in 2022 and 2023.

Equipment grant

In 2023, budget is available for equipment. The budget can be spent on new techniques, which will add to the expertise within ACS, and thus does not involve equipment which is already present at Amsterdam UMC.
