Sustainable Collaboration in Global Health: Amsterdam UMC signs MoU with AIGHD and Makerere University Today, Amsterdam UMC, Makerere University (Uganda) and the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD) signed a letter of intent to consolidate their collaboration. Amsterdam UMC and the AIGHD have been working with Makerere University on rs for a long time in terms of research and the exchange of knowledge. This is in line with Amsterdam UMC's focus on sustainable collaborations in the field of Global Health.

Alexandra Cloherty crowned winner of international award in science communication PhD student Alexandra Cloherty on winning the Famelab International 2021 at an online awards ceremony held on November 25. Cloherty is the last ever winner of the annual competition, which challenges researchers from around the world to showcase their science communication skills. Participants have to condense a complex scientific topic in an accessible manner within three minutes.

Only international cooperation can lead to better global healthcare worldwide, something which in the interest of us all.
