Prof. Ronit Shiri-Sverdlov is focusing on exploring the molecular links between lipids and inflammation in a variety of metabolic diseases. Her recent translational work is related to the role of lysosomal enzymes in metabolic and inflammatory pathways with the aim to establish novel diagnostic tools and treatment options for NASH, T2D and cancer.
