General
Dr. Ruud van Leuteren is a technical physician (TG) and postdoc researcher in the Neonatology ICU at the EKZ. As a TG, he is committed to medical technological innovation from the clinic. His focus is on respiratory support and cardiorespiratory monitoring. In addition to his clinical work, he is, together with pediatrician neonatologist Jeroen Hutten, project leader of an NWO-subsidized research project in which a new ventilation modality is being developed. In his presentation he will discuss the work of a Technical Physician and how this new profession stimulates healthcare innovation, based on clinical practice.
The EKZ Science Committee organizes this session for EKZ researchers, young and older, and all interested parties in Amsterdam UMC are welcome!
We look forward to a large turnout on February 15, 2024! If you are unable to attend the Gilat theater, you can join online (see below).
