While you are having lunch one of the Alzheimer Center experts will speak about the newest insights regarding a specific topic. This time Emma Coomans and Colin Groot-Remmers will give a lecture called: "Dementia in the picture".

When making a dementia diagnosis hospitals often use brain scans, like MRI, to picture the brain, and PET scans to visualize specific protein structures in the brain. During this lecture different techniques will be shown and it will be explained how these techniques are judged by physicians. The lecture will demonstrate how imaging at the memory clinic is used to obtain a diagnosis.
