AI&I Committee Collaboration & Synergy
The AI&I Committee Collaboration & Synergy promotes collaboration and synergy within AI&I, with other research institutes (OZIs), strategic partners, and international institutions. Its goal is to foster joint research projects and innovative initiatives.
Our Focus
- Collaboration with other OZIs: developing joint grants and research initiatives across the OZIs of Amsterdam UMC.
- Engaging strategic partners: GGD, Sanquin, AIGHD, SHM, and READE actively contribute to joint projects and brainstorming sessions.
How We Do This
- By organizing meetings and thematic sessions
- By facilitating joint grant applications
Example from 2025 In 2025, we organized a Meet & Greet for researchers from all OZIs to foster collaboration for the AI&I Cross-institute Synergy Grant 2026. This grant supports early-stage research ideas and promotes new collaborations between AI&I and one other participating institute (AGEM, ACS, APH, or AMS). Its goal is to accelerate innovation and strengthen connections among researchers.
More information about the Cross-synergy Collaboration Grant initiated and implemented by the committee can be found here.
