The Clinical Epidemiology Training Fund (OKE Fund) reimburses 50% of the tuition fees (up to €9,750; with APH discount, up to €7,312.50) for the Master’s Program in Epidemiology organized by EpidM. For the curriculum, see www.epidm.nl/masteropleiding.

The OKE Fund supports young clinicians at Amsterdam UMC and Reade who, alongside their medical training (e.g., GP, specialist, occupational physician), wish to further deepen their knowledge in scientific research and pursue a Master’s degree in Epidemiology. The fund was established by Maarten Boers, Emeritus Professor of Clinical Epidemiology. Throughout his career, Maarten Boers worked to strengthen the clinical epidemiological expertise of medical staff and founded this fund upon his retirement from Amsterdam UMC.

Eligibility

Doctors working in a department of Amsterdam UMC or Reade, with ambitions for an academic career: PhD candidates and junior staff (no more than 5 years post-training). Note: Individuals who have already taken courses at EpidM and now wish to join the Master’s program are also eligible in principle.
