We are very proud to announce that researchers from Societal Participation and Health (SPH) have been very successful in obtaining research grants from the ZonMw call ‘Verbetering kwaliteit poortwachtersproces’.
A total of 6 research projects has been granted by ZonMw to researchers of SPH. These projects involve collaborations of researchers of the Department of Public and Occupational Health of the Amsterdam UMC with other Universities (e.g. Radboud and Maastricht University), hospitals (e.g. Amphia and Erasmus MC) and sector organisations (e.g. MKB-Nederland). Each project was granted with 200.000 – 400.000 euros.
The ZonMw program is targeted at improving the reintegration of employees by (further) developing and testing interventions and stimulating knowledge development regarding: 1) strengthening the role of sick employees, 2) promoting and implementing innovative reintegration-oriented practices, and 3) facilitating work organizations to develop adaptations that improve the reintegration of sick employees. The call was carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
