The APH PhD Education Committee contributes to the Education Quality policy within APH. The committee is looking for a mid-career or senior APH researcher* that is committed to supporting PhD’s and postdocs and wants to dedicate his or her time contributing to administrative and policy tasks within the APH research institute.

Who are we looking for?

  • One enthusiastic midcareer or senior researcher
  • Who has some spare time and wants to contribute to the support services of the APH research institute

What are the tasks?

Structurally

  • Attend the committee meetings once every two weeks (1 hour)
  • Prepare the reviews of Training Plans and Portfolios of PhD candidates prior to the meetings (1 hour)

Occasionally

  • Attend quarterly policy-focused committee meetings (1-1.5 hours)
  • Contribute to education policy guidelines within the research institute
  • Work on the research institutes’ specific (updates of) handbooks, guidelines or checklists
  • Support with organizing (internal or external) PhD events

Start date: November 2023, for a period of at least one year.
