APH researcher Petra Verdonk, also associate professor Participation and Diversity at Amsterdam UMC, appeared at NPO Radio 1 to discuss the findings that women more likely suffer from side effect of COVID-vaccines than men.
Women appear to suffer more likely from side effects after being vaccinated than men. For example, six women in America that got vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine suffered from side effects. This proves that research of the vaccines and their side effects should have been conducted with women. Not all studies have considered the differences between male and female side effects of the COVID-vaccines. Petra Verdonk discusses this problem and why it occurred in a short appearance at NPO Radio 1.
