On Monday, March 9, 2026, the Dutch consortium human Disease Models and Technologies (hDMT) will host the Cancer Theme Group Meeting. The meeting will take place from 12:00 to 17:00 at the O2 building, Amsterdam UMC. This event will focus on human 3D cancer models, such as spheroids, organoids, and organ-on-chip.

This meeting is for and by hDMT members—all Amsterdam UMC employees are automatically members of hDMT, so you are invited to join! The event is open to researchers at any scientific level. We encourage you to contribute to the program by submitting presentations or technical demonstrations. The Call for Presentations is now open with the following formats:

  • Research Pitch: 5 min presentation + 5 min discussion
  • Research Presentation: 15 min presentation + 5 min discussion
  • Discussion Topic: 5 min presentation + 10 min discussion
  • Technical Demonstration: 10 min demo + 5 min discussion

Deadline for submissions: January 26, 2026

Registration (for non-presenters): open until February 23, 2026
