"On November 28th, the Nursing Symposium 2025 took place at Amsterdam UMC, with the theme 'Take care of yourself, take care of the other.' Participants were offered a varied program with various workshops, inspiring speakers and an impressive poster parade featuring nursing research. Thanks to the support of Cancer Center Amsterdam, the Best Poster Prize could be awarded to Emma van Dam, for her poster on de-implementation of "Beter Laten"-Acting in nursing home care. Her research highlights the importance of targeted care innovations and their direct impact on practice. We look back on a successful symposium and thank Cancer Center Amsterdam for making this appreciation for nursing research possible!”
