We proudly present our annual review for 2019: 'The power of collaboration'. Teamwork is an important keyword for us. The teamwork of clinicians and laboratory researchers, professionals in different locations within the Amsterdam UMC, between our regional and non-regional institutes, and teamwork on a national and international level. Together we are stronger. 

In 2019 we reached several special milestones, obtained numerous grants and won international prizes for ground-breaking discoveries by our research teams. Most importantly, we provided care for our patients in an excellent and attentive manner. Without strong teamwork and close collaboration, none of this would have been possible. 

Our vision is that every patient deserves a 'dream team' of excellent researchers and caregivers who work together on today’s care and the challenges of tomorrow. Only by working together can we ensure that every patient suffering from cancer will receive the best treatment, now and in the future.
