Focus of research

Practical Oncology Pharmacy is the term used to describe the daily activities of a hospital pharmacist working in oncology. My research aims to improve practical oncology pharmacy and focuses on three pillars: the patient, the product, and the oncology health care worker. It is driven by the challenges and clinical issues encountered in routine practice.  I search for improvement of oncology care by deploying pharmaceutical technical innovations such as robotization. Of specific interest is the optimization of systemic treatment by personalizing the anticancer therapy based on patient characteristics and by reducing unnecessary supportive drugs, both in the curative and in the palliative setting.
