Dear all,
Following the message about the CaRe research school from June 2025, we would like to inform you that the directors of the research institutes affiliated with CaRe have jointly decided not to continue CaRe in its previous form.
This means that the CaRe board will be dissolved, the website has been taken offline, and no further CaRe days will be organized.
The good news is that the Public Health and Care Research Leadership Programme will continue to exist, with content tailored to the specific fields of public health and care. UMIO will continue to organize the programme, with content-related involvement of the directors of the research institutes formerly affiliated with CaRe as advisors. Further information will follow.
We consider it important to continue strengthening collaboration within the Netherlands in the field of public health and care. Therefore, we as directors will continue to work together. In 2026, we will also reach out to the leadership of other research institutes in this domain to explore opportunities to further broaden our collaboration.
