Dr. Carmen-Silva Sergiou (APH Mental Health) is receiving a KNAW Early Career Partnership this year. She will have the opportunity to organize an interdisciplinary event for: FORNEUROTECH: Integrating Neurobiological Insights with Technological Applications in Forensic Care and will receive a grant of 10,000 EUR for this.

Together with Prof. dr. Lucres Nauta-Jansen (AUMC), Dr. Josanne van Dongen (EUR), Prof. dr. Maaike Kempes (Leiden University) and Dr. Ilse van de Groep (EUR), Carmen is organizing a two-day network symposium to integrate neurobiological insights with technology, with the aim of advancing the evidence-based implementation of neurotechnological interventions in forensic practice.

This meeting aims to establish FORNEUROTECH - a sustainable knowledge network that brings together scientists and practice professionals to further develop forensic neurobiology and technology.
