As of 1 November 2023, Sebastiaan Mastenbroek will be new co-director together with Lidewij. He succeeds Tessa Roseboom. Sebastiaan is a clinical embryologist and affiliated to the Center for Reproductive Medicine of Amsterdam UMC.

He has been an active board member of AR&D since the start of the institute in
2016! He is looking forward to fulfil his role as director, and to meeting the
researchers in our institute who work on the various aspects of human
reproduction and development.
