End of study
Once the last participant has undergone the last study procedure or your data collection is completed, you can begin the process of concluding your research. In some cases, the study may need to be terminated prematurely or handed over to a successor.
Several stakeholders and entities must be notified of the study's closure. Additionally, the data must be cleaned and locked to ensure accuracy before conducting analyses. You may also want to publish your findings and, eventually, archive the study documentation in accordance with regulatory and institutional requirements.
