Once your analysis is complete and the final report is written, there are several parties you need to inform.
There is also the possibility to publish your results, for example, in a scientific journal. Journals require all presented results in the article or manuscript to be reproducible and verifiable. In case you want to commercialize or patent your research findings, be aware that publishing too early could jeopardize your chances of successfully doing so.
After publication and reporting, it is necessary to arrange for proper archiving of the study, whether in hardcopy or electronic format. All study documents must be retained for a specific period of time after conclusion of the study, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
