Focus of research

How can the integration of patient perspectives and psychological insights optimize cardiovascular preventive treatments? I am particularly interested in patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) supporting patient recovery and treatment decisions.

My research line combines observational and implementation research with qualitative inquiry. For example, I apply pragmatic designs such as stepped wedge studies to evaluate the impact of new treatment strategies in real-world practice. Alongside this, qualitative studies deepen our understanding, while implementation research helps translate innovations into routine care.
