Focus of research
PhD candidate at Arkin/ Amsterdam UMC. Research into emotional childhood trauma. This researchproject investigates the nature, context and impact of emotional childhood trauma in patients diagnosed with a depression, anxiety disorder or OCD. Moreover this reseachproject aims to gather the preferences of patients and therapists regarding the screening and treatment of emotional childhood trauma. Based on these insights and existing scientific research, a psychoeducational module will be developed.
