Imaging biomarkers in Alzheimer and MS
Focus of research
After studying electronics at the Technical Unversity of Delft, I have always been involved in bringing science to medicine. Starting at the department of medical physics tools have been developed to perform and measure Cardiovascular reflex tests, tracking eye momement and retina saturation and the influence of visual stimulus patterns on the EEG response. From the ICT and Radiology department I have been involved in measuring structures of, and forces on the Jaw. From the department of Radiology I have been involved in creating tools to measure imaging biomarkers for Alzheimer and MS. Today, besides my work for Radiology, I try to support the research needs for data and compute for all researchers as part of the Research Support department. I have a special interest in the balance between privacy and research possibilities.
